Scared to the memory of JOHN CHAFFER, who died the 21st day of May, 1862, aged 78 years. He lived in the service of the late YARBURH YARBURGH esq., and JOHN GREAME esq,. 32 years as gardener at Sewerby House, and was highly respected and valued by them and the family. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord. yea, saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labours. XIV Rev. 13th vrs. Also HANNAH his daughter who died December 1st 1864, aged 25 years.
