BURTON FLEMING:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1868.

"BURTON FLEMING, (or North Burton), a parish in the wapentake of Dickering, in the East Riding of the county of York, 6 miles to the N.W. of Bridlington, its post town. It is intersected by a stream called the Gipsy Race. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of York, value £84, in the patronage of Admiral Mitford. The Wesleyans have a chapel in the village."
