EVERINGHAM:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1750.

"EVERINGHAM, a parish in the E.R. of Yorkshire, bet. Pocklington and Wighton, the Lp. of an ancient family, who took their name from it, and by their tenure, were obliged to perform the office of butler to the Abp. of York, at his house, on the day of his inthronization. Sir Marmaduke Constable, Bt. has a seat here."
