LOCKINGTON TOWNSHIP.
  • Post Office at Wm. Ireland's. Letters arrive via Hull, week-days only, at 8-30 a.m., and are despatched at 4-20 p.m. in summer, and 2-40 p.m. in winter. Postal Orders issued here but not paid. The nearest Money Order Office is at Dalton Holme, and Telegraph Office at Beverley. Letter Box at Lockington station, cleared at 4.15 p.m. Conveyance - Dunn's 'bus to Beverley (Saturday) and Driffield (Thursday), at 11-30 a.m.
