Geographical and Historical information from the year 1835.

"TUNSTALL, a parish partly within the liberty of ST-PETER-of-YORK, but chiefly in the middle division of the wapentake of HOLDERNESS, East riding of the county of YORK, 14 miles N.E. from Kingston upon Hull, containing 163 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, i,n the peculiar jurisdiction and patronage of the Succentor of the Cathedral Church of York, endowed with £600 royal bounty. The church, dedicated to All Saints, is principally in the later style of English architecture."
