Please note that this book relates to the Eastern
half of Yorkshire, i.e. the whole of the East Riding and the Eastern
half of the North Riding. The dialects for the West Riding and
the Western half of the North Riding differ considerably both
from each other and the Eastern half of Yorkshire.
