CommanderL H MAXFIELD
Lieutenant CommanderE W COIL
Lieutenant CommanderV N BEIG
LieutenantC G LITTLE

Officers of the United States Navy who gave their Lives
in the Disaster to the Air-Ship R-38, 24th August 1921.
In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die, and their
departure is taken for misery, and their going from us
to be utter destruction, but they are in peace.
