This tablet is here placed to record the Munificence of ELIZABETH SOPHIA LAWRENCE of Studley Royal, who in her life time gave sites for this Church and its Parsonage and largely contributed to the erection and endowment of the former and the repair and enlargement of the latter. She died on the 30th of July 1845, and was interred in a vault in the Parish Church of Kirby Fleetham in this Diocese.
