Will of Lawrence Casson, of Leeds, clothier [Reg. Test. 23, Fol. 342], dated 22 October, ; proved
17 January 1586: - Body to be buried in the parish church of Leeds, as near my father as may be.
Debts, &c. Rest to be divided into three parts: one to the performance of this will; another to
Isabel, my wife; the third, equally among my unmarried children, John, Lawrence, George, William,
Abraham, and Mercy Casson. Out of the first part, to my son Thomas, of the Quarrell Hill, 20s.
Daughter Anne Battie, of Hunslet, 20s. Rest to Isabel, my wife, whom I appoint sole executrix.
Witnesses: - John Bussey, John Kirke, William Battie, and Robert Calbecke, with others.
