ALLERSTON:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1835.

"ALLERSTON, a parish in the wapentake of PICKERING lythe, North riding of the county of YORK, 4 miles S.E. from Pickering, containing 401 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, united to the vicarage of Ebberston, in the peculiar jurisdiction of the Dean of York."
