The place: WILTON IN ELLERBURN.     Church dedication: PATRON SAINT NOT KNOWN.

Pickering Lythe wapentake. -Population, 192, vide Ellerburne ; Chapel-room, 65 ; Net value, vide Ellerburne.

Patron, the Vicar of Ellerburne. Valued in 1707, at £3. 13s. 6d. per annum.

The Curacy of Wilton was augmented in 1755, with £200; and in 1797, with £200 -both by lot *1.

No return as to glebe house.

Charity:
Poor's Money. The sum of £23, the amount of some small benefactions for the poor, is held by the overseers, at interest, and such interest is distributed among the poor not receiving regular parochial relief. -Vide 7th Report, page 736.
