Geographical and Historical information from the year 1834.

"KIRKDALE, a parish in the wapentake of Ryedale."


"BEADLAM, and Nawton are two small townships, in the parish of Kirkdale, in the wapentake of Ryedale, about three miles and a half from that town. Population of Beadlam, at the census taken in 1831, 151, and that of Nawton, 337.
