  • On Wednesday, the 26th ult., aged 79, John TAYLOR, Esq., of Burnham, Lincolnshire, and formerly of Salton, near Malton, Yorkshire.
  • On Friday, the 25th ult., at Brighton, aged 73 years, Elizabeth, wife of the Rev. John LEIFCHILD, D.D.
  • On Thursday, the 27th ult., at St. John's Wood, London, Josiah COADER, Esq.., in his 67th year. The deceased was a gentleman of great learning and ability as a journalist. During the past 23 years he officiated as editor of the PATRIOT and previous to which he was the proprietor and editor of the ELECTRIC REVIEW.
  • At Swinton, on the 30th ult., Mary Elizabeth, only daughter of Mr. John MARTIN, mason, aged 17 months; also, at the same place, on the 1st inst., aged 2 years, Ellen SPAVEN.

  • At Appleton-le-Moor, on the 21st of Feb. aged 63, Mr. Robert BAILEY, draper and general provision dealer. Deceased was highly respected, and his remains were accompanied to the grave by the whole of the male population of Appleton.

  • On the 2nd inst., at Ryton, Ellen, daughter of Mr. William FOSTON, farmer, aged 1 day.

He was a native of France, and had been employed in the French Navy, under Napoleon I; he was taken prisoner by the British, and on regaining his liberty he chose to settle here, and ended his days in the Union Workhouse.
