OLD BYLAND: Geographical and Historical information from the year 1868.

"OLD BYLAND, a parish, in the wapentake of Birdforth, in the North Riding of the county of York, 5 miles to the N.W. of Helmsley, its post town. The living is a donative curacy in the diocese of York, value £55, in the patronage of G. Wombwell, Esq."
