ACKWORTH: Geographical and Historical information from the year 1750.

"ACKWORTH, (and ACKWORTH-HALSE, ACKWORTH-LOWER, and ACKWORTH-MORE) a parish in the West Riding of Yorkshire, are four Lps. in the W.R. of Yorkshire,near Pontefract, which formerly bel. to the Ds. of Lancaster."
