The following memorial transcriptions were the work of Mr Blackburn of Bradford, about 1930.

The details shown here are taken from the original books, which are kept at Bradford Central Library.

Note:- The date of death shown for Euphemia Marshall is before the church was opened. If correct, he must have been buried elsewhere.


In Loving Memory of FRANCES Beloved Wife of the Rev. GEORGE MARSHALL who died October 17th, 1857 aged 35 years

also of the above Rev. GEORGE MARSHALL First Vicar for 42 years of St. Paul's, Pudsey. who died November 24th 1884 aged 62 years

also of ANN Beloved wife of the above who died June 27th 1898 aged 57 years

also of EUPHEMIA MARSHALL died June 5th 1822 aged 50 years

In Loving Memory of RACHEL BARNES the Beloved wife of THOMAS RAYNER BARNES who died February 17th 1876 aged 25 years

THE LORD GAVE, AND THE LORD HATH TAKEN AWAY BESSED ARE THEY THAT DIE IN THE LORD.

also of the above THOMAS RAYNER BARNES of Stanningley who died May 7th 1891 aged 41 years


In Affectionate Remembrance of ELI WARD of Stanningley who died November 20th 1874 aged 57 years

Farewell dear wife and children dear I've toiled with you for many a year I've struggled to do my best and now I'm gone to take my rest.

also SAMUEL WARD son of the above who died January 8th 1875 in the 23rd year of his age.

also ELIZABETH WARD wife of the above who died April 16th 1880 aged 63 years
