Note 2: Page & Steward to his Grace, First Duke of Leeds and then to the current Duke of Leeds
Note 3: A Gentleman universally beloved in his life, and lamented at his death
Note 4: He was SchoolMaster from 13 November 1693 and Clerk of Harthill since July 1739 after the decease of William Moor. He had quite lost his eyesight for about two years before his death
Note 5: Groom of the Stables to the Right Honourable Earl of Scarborough at Sambeck
