The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Hunslet. Founded in 1636 however there was a simple church building on the site in the late 15th century. The current church tower was consecrated in 1864 ( the actual 1864 church building was was rebuilt in aprox. 1975 leaving just the original tower standing as of to-day) as can be seen in the photograph. There was also a sister church St Oswald's, Moor Road, Hunslet Carr errected in 1889 built of red brick with seating for 400. This building was demolished in the 1960's for re-development of the Hunslet Carr area. Stuart Bailey 2008

The Old Leeds Grammar School Chapel, Leeds(the building on the left). The school moved in 1997, and these buildings are now an "Innovation Centre".
The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Headingley.
The former St. Matthews Church, Holbeck, now a community centre.
St. Mark's Church (now dis-used), Woodhouse. This building is in the process of renovation and the outside stonework being cleaned. (27/06/2011 Bob Kitchen)
The Wrangthorn (St. Augustin's) Church, Hyde Park.

- This was the very first church that Leeds Church Extension Society helped to build in 1865. It began with a tin hut (quite substantial) being replaced some 5 years later[David Breton 2007]
All Hallows' Church, Hyde Park.
The Church of St. Margaret of Antioch, Headingley, built 1908/9, and is Grade II* listed and is on English Heritage's Buildings at Risk Register. (front view).
