proved 21 February 1578: To be buried at Leeds. I remit and release to my brother, Thomas F.,
of the yearly rents 5s. 8d. and 13s. 4d. under will of my father, Roger F., all that messuage in
Holbeck, &c., in the tenure of my mother, Jennett F., widow; and the lease, &c., in said tenement
after decease of said mother, under said will. So that said Robert F., Bryan F., and Thomas F.,
pay to Alice Wilson, and my five sisters, Alison, Jennett, Mary, Sibel, and Elizabeth, 53s. 4d.
And whereas my mother paid to John Wilson, of Clifton, 26£. 13s. 4d., to my use if I did marry
his daughter, Alice Wilson, and if I do not marry her, then to the use of his son, Lawrence W., if
he marry my sister Elizabeth F., my will is that the said Lawrence and Elizabeth shall have the
said sum, so that the said Lawrence W., do marry her, according to the intent of certain covenants
of marriage made between the said John Wilson and my mother. Will mentions nephews, Roland
Eastburne, Roger Lee, William Lee, Brian Fascett; nieces, Elizabeth Lamberte, Elizabeth
Fascette, daughter of said Thomas F., cosyne, Thomas Hilie; nephew, John Lambert, son of
brother John L., the yonger; nephew Roger Fascet. Brethren Robert F., Brian F., and Thomas F.,
executors. Witnesses: - William Siddall, Thomas Lupton, Henry Miton.
