1580; proved 7 March 1580: - To son Richard W., my close at Bramley, being parcel of Lawrence
Wood's farmhold, and my whole lease, &c., in the same. To my two sons, John W., the yonger,
and Thomas W., my fermhold in Armley, with my lease in the same. To son John W., elder, 5£.
and one silver spone. To son William W., 5£. and one silver spone. Son-in-law, Thomas
Cawdrey, the like. To each of my son John W.'s [the elder] children, 3s. 4d. Son William W.'s
children, 3s. 4d. Each of my son-in-law, Thomas Cawdrey, his children, 3s. 4d. To my man,
Robert Walker, 2s. 3d. Rest to my four children, John W., yonger, Thomas W., Richard W., and
Elizabeth W., equally. Witnesses: - William Wilson, Richard Wilson, Raufe Symson, Henry
Saxton, Henry Musgrave, and William Bromehead, with others.
