proved 7 August 1584 : - To son William W., my close [one acre] in the West Field of Hunslett. To
son Thomas W., my lands in Holbeck which I lately purchased of Richard Popplewell. Debts, &c.
Residue to be divided into three parts - one to the performance of this will; one to Elizabeth, my
wife; and the third equally among my three children, William, Thomas and Isabel. Also to the said
Elizabeth my tenement where I now dwell, and my close in Hunslet Moor Syd for the term of years
therein. To son William, my close called the Pikhell, with appurts. To son Thomas, my interest
in a close called Vicar Landes, nere Leeds. To daughter Isabel, my interest in a close called
West Field. I desire my mr., John Calbecke, and my brother Richard Walker, to be guardians and
tutors to my three children, and supervisors of this will. Wife, Elizabeth, sole executrix.
Witnesses - John Calbecke, Richard Walker, and Raufe Blackburne, with others.
