plate and linings she brought with her, and £10 to by her a bed with. Unto my son, William Lepton
and his wife, either of them a Gine [guinea], having given her a portion upon marriage. Unto all
their children, each of them a Gine. Unto Alice Scott, my daughter, £150. Unto Ann Scott, my
daughter £150, with this limitation, that Alice and Ann Scott, my daughters shall take all ye shope
goods which they trayded with me for, as they cost in or shall be appraised, together with their
booke debts, in part of the said £300 I have given betwixt them. Unto Caleb and Elizabeth
Wemersley, each of them a Gine. Residue unto my son Samuell Scott, he paying unto his
brother John Scott, my eldest son, yearly forth of the same during his naturall life the sum of £6.
Samuell Scott, sole executor. Son-in-law Mr. William Lepton, supervisor. Dated 2 April 1707.
