TODWICK:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1868.

"TODWICK, a parish in the S. division of Strafforth wapentake, West Riding county York, 7 miles S.E. of Rotherham, its post town, and 10½ S.E. of Sheffield. The village is situated on the road from Sheffield to Worksop. There are quarries of good red grit-stone for building. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of York, value £121. The church is dedicated to SS. Peter and Paul. The Duke of Leeds is lord of the manor."
