WARMFIELD:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1834.

"WARMFIELD, a parish-town, in Agbrigg-division of Agbrigg and Morley, liberty of Pontefract; 4 miles E. of Wakefield, 5 from Pontefract, 25 from York."


"HEATH, a small village, in the township of Warmfield-with-Heath, and parish of Warmfield, is one mile and a half s.e. from Wakefield. The village, which is surrounded by delightful scenery, is the residence of many respectable families. An endowed school, called Lady Bool's school, is in the village. The parish contained, at the last census, 995 inhabitants, and the township 752 of that number. (for the 1834 directory for this village, please see under Wakefield parish)."
