"KILLOSOLAN, (or Killasolain), a parish in the baronies of Kilconnell and Tiaquin, county Galway, Ireland, 28 miles N.E. of Galway. The parish is of large extent, and contains the villages of Castleblakeney and Caltra. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Ardagh, Elphin, and Kilmore, value £355, in the patronage of the crown and the bishop, alternately.
