TULLAMAINE
"Tullamaine", or Tullamain,
a parish, in the barony of Shillelogher,
county of Kilkenny, and province of Leinster, 1 1/2 mile (N.) from Callan,
on the road to Kilkenny; containing 435 inhabitants, and comprising 1147
statute acres, as applotted under the tithe act. It is a rectory and
vicarage, in the diocese of Ossory, forming part of the union of Callan.
In the R. C. divisions also it is part of the union or district of Callan.
