The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Cloonlogher contained the following places:

"CLOONLOGHER, a parish in the barony of Drumahaire, in the county of Leitrim, province of Connaught, Ireland. It is situated within a short distance of Manor-Hamilton, at the embouchure of the rivers Shannon and Fergus. The surface consists of good soil, with limestone and much upland. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Killaloe, value with Kilfinaghty, 2277, in the patronage of the bishop. Sixmilebridge is the post town. The tithes are partly taken by the Wynnes, as titular "Abbots of Cloonclare." Larkfield is the seat of the O'Donnells."
