SENWICK, Kirkcudbrightshire
"SENWICK, a parish in the county of Kirkcudbright, Scotland, 4 miles S.W. of Kirkcudbright. It is situated on the bay, and is in conjunction with Borgue. It was once robbed by a French pirate, who was drowned at Frenchman's Rock."
