"Rumbling Bridge is a famous centre for visitors to the gorges and falls of the Devon river, here spanned by two bridges - the older dating from 1713, the modern one not yet a century old. The defile at this point is about 120 feet deep. Above the bridges is the Devil's Mill, below are the falls of the Caldron Linn."
