A list of monumental inscriptions in Ashkirk Churchyard was published
in the 1962 volume of the Hawick Archaeological Society's transactions.
In case it might be of use to researchers, a list of the surnames
appearing on the gravestones in this list is included here. Researchers are
advised to consult the 1962 article for full details of the gravestone
