Ettrick Kirkyard: List of Surnames

A list of monumental inscriptions in Ettrick Kirkyard was published in the 1964 volume of the Hawick Archaeological Society's transactions.

In case it might be of use to researchers, a list of the surnames appearing on the gravestones in this list is included here. Researchers are advised to consult the 1964 article for full details of the gravestone inscriptions. This may be available, for example, via Inter-Library Loan.
