The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Mount contained the following places:

"MOUNT, a parish in the hundred of Troedyraur, county Cardigan, 4 miles N. of Cardigan, its post town. It is situated on the coast near Mount Bank. The village is small and wholly agricultural. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of St. David's, value £55. The church is dedicated to the Holy Cross."
