CARDIGANSHIRE  HUNDREDS AND PARISHES

This listing is basically that of Cardiganshire's ancient parishes, arranged according to the hundreds in which they are situated. Click on a parish name to go its parish page.
Many Welsh place names exist in several variants. The name used here is typically that found in Cofresti Plwyf Cymru: Parish Registers of Wales.

To view a ' sketch map' indicating the position and relative size of each parish within its  hundred, click on the particular hundred's name below. These maps are based on  data in the book by Bert J. Rawlins, ' The Parish Churches and Nonconformist Chapels of Wales'.
Here also is a sketch map of the hundreds themselves.
To see a full view parish based sketch map see the Dyfed FHS page.
