Many Welsh place names exist in several variants. The main parish name used here is typically that found in Cofresti Plwyf Cymru: Parish Registers of Wales.
In cases where there is a distinctly-different Welsh version of a place name this included as an additional "See" item - but no attempt is made to list all minor variations,
such as variants that differ only in respect of the inclusion, or omission, of hyphens.
