The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Pendine contained the following places:

"PENDINE, (or Pendyn), a parish in the hundred of Derllys, county Carmarthen, 5 miles S.W. of Laugharne, its post town, and 10 from Narberth. The village, which is of small extent; is situated on Carmarthen Bay. The living is a rectory annexed to that of Llandawke, in the diocese of St. David's. The church is an ancient structure. The tithes were commuted in 1839.
