*It has been subsequently stated 1) that Mr. J. Idwal Rees retired in
June 1970 and was succeeded by Mr. Iolo Davies. 2) Cowbridge Grammar School turned Comprehensive in
September 1973.
*And there has followed a correction that Idwal Rees actually
retired at the end of the summer term of 1971 and not in June 1970. He was, indeed, followed in post by
Iolo Davies, who left when the school became a comprehensive.
