  • Rees Bevan started 'the Cause' in the 1880s; meetings were held in his house in Kings Head Row, now Glossop Terrrace; the chapel was built opposite; he and his wife Jane and others of their family were buried at Salem because there is no burial ground in Bryn Seion. (9)
