    [Not sure where Llan-y-Tair-Mair comes into it, 'Baptist chapel' is shown in the middle of the small village of Knelston on the 1884 old-maps site]
  • "There is a Baptist chapel" 1895 (2) and - "erected in 1858 with 130 sittings" 1910 (3)
  • 'Killay and Knelston Baptist chapel' MIs on the Glamorgan FHS publications lists (4) and Glamorgan Record Office (5)
  • "There is also a chapel belonging to the Baptists" Slaters Directory for 1880 (6) and the Rev Silvanus Jones is shown as minister there in 1880 (6)
