The book "In the Valley Long Ago" by Graham Hughes 1985 from Dechreuad A Chynnydd Gweithiau Cwmafan by John Rowlands first published in Aeron Afan 1853

It covers the early years of Cwmavon and has a  list of chapels of that period.
