Wesleyan chapel, Port Eynon

There is a Wesleyan chapel 1895 (1) and 1910 (2)

In Port Eynon a former poorhouse (according to source) was fitted out in 1852 by Captain Bevan as a Methodist Chapel (JC 3)

A brief excerpt from the Gower Methodists site
"in 1764 Wesley came to Oxwich, where he preached twice before moving on. Among the converts he left behind was a young village girl, Margaret Harris. On the 6th of March 1769, Margaret married William Tucker of Horton. William, baptised in Port Eynon 28 December 1739, was the son of William and Anne Tucker."

This chapel no longer exists as a chapel, the OS grid reference from the NLW's Nonconformist Chapels book is SS46778540 which hits a spot just behind St Catwg's church in the village
