"IFTON, a parish in the hundred of Caldicott, county Monmouth, 6 miles S.W. of Chepstow. There is no village, only a few farmhouses. The living is a rectory united with the rectory of Rogiett, in the diocese of Llandaff. The church has long been in ruins."
