"ROGGIETT, a parish in the lower division of Caldicott hundred, county Monmouth, 6 miles S.W. of Chepstow, its post town, and 10 from Usk. The village consists of a few scattered houses. The tithes have been commuted for a rent-charge of £65 17s. The living is a rectory united with that of Ifton, in the diocese of Llandaff, joint value £390."
