"UNDY, a parish in the lower division of Caldicott hundred, county Monmouth, 7 miles S.W. of Chepstow, and the same distance from Caerleon, its post town. The village is situated near the coast of the Bristol Channel. The living is a vicarage* in the diocese of Llandaff, value £183, in the patronage of the dean and chapter."
