The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Freystrop contained the following places:

"FREYSTROP, a parish in the hundred of Roose, county Pembroke, South Wales, 2 miles S. of Haverfordwest, its post town, and 5 N.E. of Milford. It is situated near the river Cleddy. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St. David's, value £145, in the patronage of the lord chancellor. Clariston is the principal residence."
