The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Granston contained the following places:

"GRANSTON, a parish in the hundred of Dewisland, county Pembroke, South Wales, 4 miles S.W. of Fishguard, its post town, and 10 N.E. of St. David's. It is situated in the vicinity off the sea-coast. The living is a vicarage united with the vicarage of St. Nicholas, in the diocese of St. David's, value £316, in the patronage of the bishop. The church contains. monuments of the Harries of Tregwynt, and other families."
