The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Hasguard contained the following places:

"HASGUARD, a parish in the hundred of Roose, county Pembroke, 7 miles S.W. of Haverfordwest. The village is small, but built upon an eminence, commanding a fine view over the sea. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St. David's, value £106. The church is dedicated to St. Peter. Hasguard House is the principal residence."
