The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Mynachlog Ddu contained the following places:

"MYNACHLOG-DDU, (or Monachlogddu), a parish in the hundred of Kemess, county Pembroke, 9 miles N. of Narberth, and 9 from Newport, its post town. It is situated under Precelly Mountain, at the river Cleddy's head. The parish is large. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of St. David's, value £129. The church is dedicated to St. Dogmael.
