The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Robeston Wathen contained the following places:

"ROBESTON WATHEN, (or Wathon East), a parochial chapelry in the hundred of Narberth, county Pembroke, 2 miles N.W. of Narberth, its post town. The village, which is of small extent, is situated on the river Cleddau. Many curious fossils are found in a quarry in the neighbourhood. The living is a curacy annexed to the rectory* of Narberth, in the diocese of St. David's. The church is an ancient structure, with a tower.
