- The sections marked with a * are only being handled on a care and maintenance basis by the named person. An active developer is required to handle maintenance in the long term.
- The links in the column entitled Pages gives details of all the pages that are in that section. Contact Phil if there are any in there that should be totalled elsewhere, or if there are any parts missing.
- The Link errors column shows the number of broken links that have been found, and link to a page giving details about each error.
- The HTML errors column contains the results of running an html syntax checker against a cached copy of your pages. The number given is the number of pages containing errors. Some html generators generate invalid html, and fixing it can take some time. However there is a tool, HTML Tidy, which will fix a lot of the errors for you and is well worth investigating.
- The Size column contains the sum of the size of all the pages in that section, when it can be obtained from the web server. Unfortunately there are a few web servers which do not provide this information.
- The No logo column is provided as an aid to identify pages without the GENUKI logo.
Any such pages so identified may not be appropriate to hold the logo, so appearing here does
not mean that the logo must be added. The Spider
decides that a page contains the logo if it loads
GenukiLogo.gif. - The Nearby Places column shows the number links on town/parishes via the
Nearby Placesbutton into the GENUKI gazetteer. An additionalYesindicates whether entries for that county are being managed by the county maintainer in their own space. - The More places lists the additional places that need adding to your county section of the Gazetteer.
- The Last updated column contains the most recent date from all the pages in that section, when it can be obtained from the web server. Unfortunately there are a few web servers which do not provide this information.
- If there are any sections, i.e. groups of pages that should be on their own line, that you think should be added, again see Phil.
- A colour coding scheme is used to indicate the length of time errors have been reported, but not fixed. After 3 months (90 days) the background becomes amber, and after 6 months (180 days) it becomes red.

Pages analysed
Each run of the GENUKI Spider produces a list of all the GENUKI pages accessed, in most cases with details of size, last modified date and title. There is also a zip file containing all the errors found.All_links.zip is a 5Mb zip file (which expands to 100Mb) containing a CSV file which is a list of all the links on every GENUKI page.
