The two WW1 Memorial plaques which were originally in the Wesleyan Methodist Church (Trinity) in St Peters Ave, Cleethorpes, have been cleaned and restored and were re-dedicated at St Andrews Methodist Church, Cleethorpes on Sunday 4th November 2007. They are brass plaques, with impressive black and gold lettering and decoration, about 3 ft by 2 ft in size. Trinity closed in 1968, and after it was demolished, they were stored at the Mill Road (formerly Primitive Methodist) Church, and then at St Andrews, which was completed in 1979 on the Mill Road site. Most of the names are on our tree of linked Cleethorpes families. The 20 WW1 Casualties listed, together with the full names and dates are: Joseph W.
